VET Center ALTO, is excited to announce our participation in the kick-off meeting for the DefendEUrself – Innovative Cybersecurity Skills for Seniors, Erasmus+ project in Athens, Greece on 13 October 2025! The meeting was hosted by Open Education Hub (OEH).
The DefendEUrself project targets the elderly (45+) in Europe to enhance their cybersecurity skills and mitigate vulnerability to online threats and risks. It achieves this by conducting an in-depth analysis (gathering 600 survey responses) and developing an accessible, innovative training course featuring 21 digital micro-MOOCs. The project establishes an online networking platform (aiming for 500 registered users) for community engagement and develops recommendations for policymakers.
We look forward to working with our partners from Belgium, Italy, Portugal, and Lithuania to achieve the project’s objectives.
